Three Sparkly Snowmen

perhaps not a good idea when the sun is shinning....

BUT this new stamp set "Three Sparkly Snowmen" by Little Claire you are sure to love !!

 

My first card sure is sparkly with glitter snowflakes !! I've used distress inks to make a background and splattered with water, stamped and coloured my snowman and then added some frantage snow !! Finished off with a bit of red sparkly fringy twine !!

 

  My second card is sort of snow globe,  again made the same background using distress inks and water splattered,  stamped my three snowmen and coloured with spectrum noir pens,  frantaged snow,  cut a ring frame from white card and then embossed it.  Mounted onto a black circle and then hand cut the shaped base.  Finished off with some cute buttons and crinkly ribbon which I made by heating with a heat gun !!

The House Mouse design I have used is called "Blowing Bubbles" and the sentiment is one from "Beary Mice" loads of distressed edges, used a die to cut my flowers and leaves, dollies, daisy trim, topped off with a ribbon bow !!

I've coloured with spectrum noir pens and glazed the bubbles which doesn't show on my photo's. This really does bring back childhood memories of my mum giving me a wire ring and washing up liquid do I could blow bubbles.....

For my card I just made a background with distress inks, water and frantage, stamped and coloured my cats with Spectrum Noir pens and then decoupaged the middle cat. Added fluffy stuff for the snow at bottom.

I've also used the fab Little Claire  "Snowy Ombre" paper as my main card backing paper. Topped all off with a tule and ribbon bow !!

Late getting this one done as it has taken me a long time to decide what I was going to do !!

Tim's tag is all about celebrating America, red, white and blue. I would have liked to do the same but with Great Britain,  just didn't have anything in stamp form or bits and pieces to do it,  so I went for inspiring nature instead !!  Really do need to pick up some trinket bits and pieces....

The wildlife stamps are by Stamping Up and the sentiment stamp I think is a Lindsay Mason set. I've just water coloured using "Fired Brick" and "Stormay Sky" distress inks.

House Mouse and a friend

..is the new challenge theme we have for you at House Mouse and Friends Monday challenge !!

 

 So it can be another House Mouse or any other kind of friend as long as you have one House Mouse, Gruffie or Happy Hopper on your project !!

I've gone for another House Mouse as my friend and this little guy sure needs his friend's help...

My little guy's have been stamped and then coloured using Spectrum Noirs pens as usual and I then used a distress ink to colour the background.

The papers are from BasicGrey's "Sweet Threads" paper pad, just love the colours. loads of matt's and layers with all the edges finished off with faux stitching.  I used several dies to make the flower and leaves. and then added a ribbon bow.

Zentangle ATC's

Warning very poor photo,  taken on a very wet and dull day...

Jo's June ATC swop was "zentangle" so I made these four zentangle dogs using the dreamweaver stencil.  I really had fun doing these, but loads of room for improvement I think,  I'm a bit messy.

 

Sadly they have gone missing in the post and I am gutted !!  So sorry guy's you won't be receiving a swop from me for June......hay ho that's life.
