House Mouse and Stampendous Blog Hop 28th March !!

Whoohoo guy's !!

House Mouse and Friends are having a Blog Challenge Hop with the fabulous Stampendous !!

 

Our challenge theme is:

"Use stencils with our HMD Characters"

On my card I have used  HMD "Jewellry Making", stamped and coloured in using Spectrum Noir pens and added some shine using a glaze pen on all the beads and jars !!

I've used Dreamweavers white gloss and crackle embossing paste with their fabulous "Vintage Decor" stencil to create my textured background.  First I put a layer of crackle paste all over a piece of white card, let it dry and then layed my stencil on top going over it with gloss paste. When everything was  dry I went over the design with Vintage Photo distress ink. To add a bit more texture I went round the edges with Liquid Pearls in Copper Pearl

All topped off with a bit of lace and big ribbon bow !!

A " hoppy " card

 Hi guys, sharing a Fiskarettes UK project today which I loved making using Fiskars tools !!

Just made a sky background by punching out a cloud and inking around it

Cut some strips of white card inking all the edges to make the fence, then used the shape cutter to cut ovals and circles to make my bunny. A strip of white card fringed and rolled makes the bunny's tail.

Then punched some petals and leaves from pattern papers and a few stalks to make the flowers, adding some stitching detail using a black fine line pen.

This panel was then mounted onto a pastel green card base.

Dinkie fun !!

Morning guys, hope you all had a fab weekend !!  We have sunshine again this morning so thats a good start to the day.....spring really is trying !!

 

So what about this bright springy card using one of the new 4 LC Designs Dinkies, its called "Rain Hogs"  I've paper pieced the umbrella using Dinkies-Mini Dotty paper and fussy cut out some of the daisies from Dinkies- Mini Delicate Daises paper

And what about this new Dinkie cutie "Darling Elephants"

I've just made a simple sweet rocker card and gone mad with my black dots round all the edges !!.

Got a sweet little rocker card to share today guys. Wanted to make a girly card using these cute Penny Black hedgehogs. 

The papers are by Wild Rose Studio and a great way to use up scraps is to cut them in strips to make your background paper as I have done.

I've used my usual Spectrum Noir pens to colour in with,  a Cheery Lyn die to make the flowers and a fine black liner pen to add dots to all the edges !!  Topped off with a big pink bow !!

Pastels

Well yesterday was lovely here, you could really feel the warmth in the sun and I hope it will be the same today.  Actually got some washing dry which was lovely, it always smells sooooo nice when you get it in (how sad is that)

Righty ho time for another fun House Mouse and Friends Challenge you for and the theme this fortnight is 

 "Pastels"

Now I had fun with this using "Reptile Walk" which is just up my quirky street !!

 I've used pastel blues and greens and did loads of spots round everything with a black fine pen and inked all the edges !!

The theme is " Anythiing goes " this month and for my card I tried a shabby chic sort of look using

 " Sweetest Wishes "

Did a lot of inking and background stamping on this one, stamped and water coloured my little girl image, used some fab oval  Cheery Lyn dies, made my shabby roses by punching circles and tinting them blue then crumpling them up, finished off with a lace ribbon bow and some fancy pearls.

 OMG you lucky peeps. look at this amazing LC Designs prize up for grabs this month !!

Making Cards magazine

Just bought a copy of Making Cards and its lovely to see so many of my blog buddies with some of their creations in the magazine !!

Pauline has some lovely Easter cards,  Kelly has two fab LOTV cards and my ex LC Designs teamie Marianne has some male cards in the back pages.
