I'm doing an online class at "My Creative Classroom" which was free to me called "Everything Embossed" by Deena Zeigler.

Our first project was a sweet strawberry card by Deena Zeigler and you can find her blog HERE

Here is my card:

The body of the  strawberry is embossed as well as the leaves. Just added a few flowers and  my curly bits are made from two food bag twist's covered with card and then curled round a pencil !! Excuse the pun, but it really is a sweet card !!

Cute card !!

This months challenge over at Woodware is a this sketch.

So I have made this very simple  (which isin't easy for me !!)  cute card using the Woodware set of stamps called "Jungle Pals" by Francoise Read.

More Than One Fold

First a BIG WELCOME to my new followers and thanks for joining me !!  Just so glad I'm not talking to myself !!

A different Wedding Card !!

I'm sure there won't be another card like this at the wedding I'm going too this Friday !!

I love guinea pigs and love to be different if I can,  so hay ho this is what the happy couple are getting !!

Decoupage was my first love when I started card making and I still love it,  but tend to use it with a stamped image. But when I saw this set from Joanna Sheen called "Out Of The Hutch" I knew I had to have them !!  There are six layers to this cute wedding scene so it is raised quiet high !! Just added my usual rolled flowers and a few die cut leaves......

Dude Time Doodles

Not sure what you'll think of this one..........

Things sure are going down the pan and sorry if you feel a bit flushed,  but I'll  have a go at anything !!

The challenge over at Dude Time Doodles is this free image "Johnny On The Spot" . Now what would you do with it then !!  Check out all the fab idea's their team came up with !!

I`ve distressed all my paper edges and paper piece the loo and then coloured some in with a gold pen.  Then made the bunting to go along the top.

PS What on earth do men do for soooooooo long in the loo ??????

Teddy Bo & Co

I bought Simply Cards and Papercraft mag issue 98 because I love Teddy Bo & Co stamps !!  With this issue you get a fab set of stamps and co-ordinating papers. So here is the card I have made just using the stamps and free papers plus a bit of glitter card, bit of blue thread + button.

Two favourites of mine at mo are paper pleating,  because of the texture it gives your cards and doodling !!   I think this is a nice card for any man in your life..........

Challenge #174 at The Crafty Pad is...Let's Hear It For The Boys !!

 Now I know men can be hard to create for,  but we all have to come up with something so now is a good time to enter our challenge seeing Fathers Day is just around the corner or get ahead for a male Birthday becuase we have two fab sponsor prizes this week !!

It's Design Team  A's turn this week so that includes me !!

I went a bit mad again this week and made a squeezy card from scratch !!  I start with an idea and it sort of grows...........

 Forgive me not going into great detail over this card,  but we will be here forever !!  I started with three 7" x 7" pieces of white card and cut the same aperture in the middle of two of them. Then cut two strips of white card to make the concertina sides. These sides allow you to flaten your card for posting.

The digi images I have used are :  "Albert Diggin"- "Sammy Scarecrow"- "Molly with Birdhouse" and "Bestest Dad Ticket"   All have been coloured with promarkers and then cut out.

I then cut out and coloured umpteen trees using a marianne die,  a few fence panels and ivy trails also using a marianne dies.  I did cloud effects on all three of the 7" x 7" pieces of white card using a blue distress ink and then just really played in making up the scene !!

Silhouettes !!

First of all "Happy Birthday To Me !! so I'm celebrating with the Queen on her special day !!  Sadly got to work today,  but hay ho life must go on !!

 Here`s mine using nearly all the silhouettes except the birds and telephone !!

I love the tri-shutter cards as they give you alot of space to decorate !!  The papers are from the "Lincoln Linen" collection from Papermania and I have embossed the swirls in gold over the edges. I printed all the silhouettes onto card and then cut them out, then stuck them on individually.  All the edges of the papers have been distressed with a knife.  The card just has a lovely soft vintage feel !!
