I've made a 3D gift pouch out of a 6" x 6" kraft card which you could tuck chocolate, money, tickets, jewellery etc into and give as a present.
You just open up your card and score it at 4 1/2" up from one of the 6" ends to form your pocket.
Don't worry about the middle score line as it will now be covered with paper front and back then embossed. At this point I lightly ink all over with vintage photo distress ink to pick up the embossing detail and then folded up the flap and glued to form the pocket.
The top is decorated with half a doily, lace bow, paper bow, two die cut snow flakes and a button
On the pocket I have die cut a big snow flake and stamped my Happy Christmas, frilled some lace at the bottom, then die cut 3 christmas tress and sprinkled with thick white embossing powder to look like snow, die cut a fence and two robins and finally stamped and coloured "My Gift" image using Spectrum Noir pens ( for the very first time !!) used some fine flowersoft around her hood, dress cuff and pom pom, then fussy cut out adding more white embossing power. All has been mounted on 3D foam tape.
