Must say the flowers are so delicate even stamped and then embossed in white and lovin the soft blending the oxides has given !!

Paper cutting

Happy New Year to one and all and hope it holds exciting new crafty ventures for you !!

Well it has for me as I have had my first go at paper cutting. Have you tried it yet...

 The sunflower was my very first go and it comes from a super book from Katy Sue Designs called "Adventures in Paper Cutting"  I left it white and made an inky background for it.

Now my second go was the feather which I coloured with distress inks the same colours as I used to make the background on my sunflower.

 I'll warn you this becomes very addictive when you start, its a bit like doing a jigsaw puzzle....

Hedgie happiness !!

I have always found cas cards very hard to do as "less is more" has no meaning to me.... ha ha,  but I do like to challenge myself now and then. So when I saw Penny Black and More Challenge for this month is "Clean and Simple" I decide it was time to take up the challenge !!

How cute are these little guys !!  They come from a Penny Black set called " Every Which Way" and loads of super cute stamps included. I've simply done a few layers of card, stamped and coloured with Copics and added a bit of shading with pencil.

Oh dear my poor old car didn't like the cold snowy weather and decided it wasn't going to go out in it, stll waithing for the garage to come and pick it up as they have to fit it in when they can !!  I had already got it booked for a full service this Monday........
