A little competition for you ??

Today I recieved my fab stamp grab bag from Joanna Sheen. You never know what you are going to get and I love mine !!

I thought I would have a little competition....try and guess which is my favourite stamp ??  There is a prize for the right guess !!

Just leave your guess in a comment and on Friday night I will announce the winner.  If nobody guess right then I'll put all your names into a hat and draw a radom winner.  If there is more than one right guess then I'll again put those names into the hat and draw one.

Colours of Your Flag / Sketch

We really have had it hot !!  Better enjoy it while we can because we might need our wellies next week !!

This week has flown by,  so it time for another challenge at The Crafty Pad !!   It`s called " Colours Of Your Flag and or a Sketch"

On my card I have used "Flowers and Watering Can" and my colours for the British flag, Red, White and Blue !!

Telescopic cards are great fun to make and with mine I have mounted it onto a square card.  The circles have been cut from several Spellbinder Dies and one from a Nellie die.   Used a blue distress ink to colour the image background and then coloured the images in with promarkers.

Red, White and Blue

Here`s my take on the Red, White and Blue monthy challenge over at Woodware !!

A simple card for me this time using the Woodware stamp set called " Doctors and Nurses" by Francoise Read.

Just decoupaged the doctor and nurse and their bags,  added some glossy accents to hightlight the red crosses, top of the clip board and whatever the thing is called on top of the doctors head !! Anyone know ??     

Added a lot of faux stitching all round the edges and a few big stitches on the outer edges of the paper.

Bingo Time !!

SS Hoppity !!

As soon as I saw this image from Robyns Fetish I knew I had to make a rocker card !!

SS Hoppity is the cutest bunny rowing a boat and I love bunnies (well all animals actually !!) He`s just right for a male birthday !!


I also love paper piecing, so apart from the fence the whole scene is paper pieced. The paper I have used is from a paper pack from My Minds Eye called "Spice". The little flowers on the tress and fence, I have cute out from one of the pattered papers.

The trees and fence are cut from Marianne dies and are just right for making little scenes.

Doodle It !!

The challenge we have for you this week at The Crafty Pad is right up my street !!

 "Doodle It" can be just a bit or alot of doodling on your project !! Could be some faux stitiching or a doodled message or a pretty flower !!

It`s Team A`s turn to inspire you this week which includes me !! I have used Debbie's fab  "Lazy Days of Summer" digi and the" Black & White Delight" paper pack.

The cat is just right to doodle in with any pattern you like !!  I just cut stips of the "Black &White Delight" paper and glued them onto a red card leaving a gap between each strip.  Then doodled a black zigzag line on the red between the stips of paper. I mat and layed the cat image onto a piece of black then red card and doodled another zigzag black line round the edge.  The sun is one of the circles off the paper cut out.  I love it !!

Fathers Day

You might like to have a look at The Crafty Pad Design shop as Debbie has some more new digi stamps for sale !!  This time they are for a Fathers day or Birthday and come with two sentiments.  Also there is a fab paper pack "One For The Boys"  which goes great with them !!

I have used " I Love Daddy" Son and there is a girl design as well.  They both come uncoloured or coloured.

I have used the uncoloured version and the papers  which are fab !!

Thought it would be nice to make a shaped card and cut the DAD on my cricut and stuck them onto a blank card and then cut round the letters. Printed and then coloured the Dad and Son image, then cut them out and attached to front of card.  I`ve given Dad a bit of stubble and then drawn a no 1 on his shirt.  Printed the Fathers Day sentiment onto one of the patterened papers and then backed with black and clipped it onto the card and tied a piece of ribbon onto the clip. From the paper I had left, I then cut out some of the screws and gluded them onto the right handside of the  D.

What Dad would not  love this card from their son or daughter !!

Molly Bloom/ Clare Rowlands

Had a real fab time on Saturday !!  Clare Rowlands designer of Molly Bloom stamps came to AMOM for the day and I was very lucky to do her class with her in the afternoon !!

Clare is a lovely person with my kind of sense of humour !! If you ever get the chance to do a class with Clare then I highly recommend it !!

We made a pocket card in the afternoon and here is mine..........

Clare`s designs are very detailed and right up my street with loads of colouring and cutting out !! This card is going nowhere and is staying with me.........I have a few ideas of what to make it into........but thats for another post !!
