Wet t-shirt competition

No matter how many times I enter the wet t-shirt competition I just can't seem to win !!

I thought I could make it round the field with my dogs before it rained, but oh no I couldn't !! Half way round the heavens opened and I just had to keep going.  The joy is short lived when you get back to your car:

1- the windows all steam up

2-you can't lean back as it's COLD wearing a dripping wet t-shirt

3-there is this lovely strong smell of "WET DOG"

So you think the ordeal is over when you arrive home.....

You can't dry yourself off because you have to see to two wet smelly dogs who think it is great fun to chase one another round the house sharing water everywhere !! So you get them sorted and then at last you try and get that wet t-shirt off and everything else which is not easy I can assure you !!

If your still with me I'll show you something nice !!

Went last week to catch up with my friend Nicki and her hubby Kurt. Nicki had made a fab carrot cake which even Jess their cat thought might be nice to try if I hadn't moved it !!

Nicki has a lovely blog which you can find HERE. Why not pop over and say hi. Anyway Nicki gave me these stamps and some lovely ribbons which was so kind of her.

and I made a cute set on thank you cards using the stamps

These Holly Hobby stamps are really detailed and so much fun to colour in. I just stamped them onto white card and coloured in using promarkers and then drew a wavy black outline and stamped a "Thanks" sentiment, them mounted onto a piece of blue card before mounting onto main card.

I like that you stick to simple here, there are not many stamped cards I see out there that come without embellishments. I love the colouring, too!
