April Showers word did we have high winds and showers yesterday !!  My side fence now looks like it 's had a few too many !!

Well 1st of the month and that means a new Little Claire Stamp Club set and this month's is called

"April Showers"

I adore the little ducks and duck border...for this card I just stamped the border top and bottom, then in different coloured inks,  repeatedly stamped one of the sentiments across the middle. Stamped, coloured and decoupaged the duck square, mounted onto black card and then to centre of card. All coloured in with Spectrum Noir pens.

For the second card I made a fold out frame from a piece of stampin up paper and stamped the coat stand and wellies square in middle and coloured.  Then did several matt and layers using white card and stampin up paper. Made a stamped border round outside edge using sentiment from set. Finished off with some card candy I coloured with Spectrum Noir blue pen same as coat and wellies.
Such a fun set to play with and so many different cards you could make using it !!  Check it out now over at

Just made it with this one !!

Here's my take on Tim's March tag,  really enjoying these monthly tag challenges !!  Managed all the techniques on this one, but didn't have any tissue tape. I've used on my embossing paste swirls silver pearl instead of gold embossing powder which I couldn't find,  hiding somewhere in my craft heap I expect !!

Here's Tim's inspiration for us all

It's amazing seeing all the wonderful different takes on this tag. Check them out HERE

always brings happy memories for me as my mum loved to celebrate spring/easter.  More and more of us now love home decor and my mum use to love doing it when we were kids, but Blue Peter style.

She use to make an easter tree which was a branch from a tree which she then covered with tin foil and decorated with chicks and eggs and bits and pieces she had.

Now that brings me nicely onto my bit of springtime home decor (not Blue Peter style)  as "Springtime" is our next challenge theme at Little Claires for you.

My little banner is made from squares of chipboard cover with Little Claires Dinkies mini gingham papers which you can find HERE. Then decorated by stamping, colouring and fussy cutting out Tulip Bunny, Butterfly Bunny and Hunny Bunny

Yes I stamped and fussy cut out more tulips from the pot that Tulip Bunny is holding,  mad or what !!

Then finished off with some chipboard letters coloured with pastel promarkers, die cut some white dollies and tied the banner squares together with ribbon.

Can't wait to see what Springtime creations you guys come up with . Pop over now and check out all the wonderful makes by the team !!
