Lots of stamping, fussy cutting, colouring and all to create a little garden scene !!  Just  my kind of thing...

Dotty For Dots !!

...well its me hosting the challenge this fortnight over at House Mouse and Friends and I went a bit OTT 

 

  and so did my mices.....one little guy just had to dive right in !!  Well we all LOVE chocolate drops !!

The papers are by Dovecraft called "Sweet Paris" and I have pleated a dotty piece to make the cupcake base, then used texture paste to make the frosting adding some candy dots and glitter.

Stamped coloured and fussy cut out all my super cute mices adding them with 3D foam tape.

Did you clock the one waving in the bow ??

Added lace round the edge and a lace bow with the sentiment and loads of candy round scalloped outer edge of card. Finished off with a large bow with a small bow of ric rac.

Creative Stamping

magazine hit the shops today guys and I'm so excited to say Little Claire have a feature included on the new "April Showers" stamp set  !!

Heidi, Helen, Gaynor, Marianne and myself have cards to showcase this super cute set of stamps with instructions on how to make them !!

This is my fun rocker card..

Loads of repeat stamping and then colouring using Spectrum Noir pens and a bit of decoupaging with the centre ducks !!

is plenty.......

I'm always amazed what we can create with just a blank sheet of card...

I found some old magazines and one Stamper magazine had this free bunny stamp still attached, so it got me creating !!  I also used a couple of Woodware stamps and a tree from a Lindsay Mason set.

The only trouble with me is once I get stamping I have a hard time stopping !!

Wizzing Birthday !!

no it's not my birthday....

Over at "The Mirror Crack'd" the challenge is "Make and use a Master Board", so I have.

For my board I have used a white piece of A4 card. First I used distress inks to make circles of different colours, then sprayed with water, dried and then made bigger water splats. Next I use a mask to make swirls of dots in purple and greens. Then I embossed with WOW embossing powders , stars and wizzy bits and finished off with stamping words and potion bottles filling in the gaps.

So first I cut up my board to make my fancy gate fold birthday card adding stamped fussy cut out images mounted onto 3D foam tape,  using Woodwares "Wizardry" stamp set by Francoise Read.

Then I made a gift box...

And a matching tag...with the bits I had left.

Here's the set altogether.

Really enjoyed this challenge !!  Why not have a go at a master board yourself !!

A bit on sunshine

on this Sunday morning !!

Here's another bright and sunny coloured card I've made using Little Claire's  "April Showers",  this months fun club stamp set .

Stamped and coloured my image using spectrum Noir pens.

Sorry I can't remember who the papers are by,  but I had loads of fun fussy cutting out loads of the flowers from one sheet and then shaping them. Also die cut some leaves to go with them. Finished off with inking all the edges and my usual faux stitching.

and this one is so pretty....couldn't do all of Tim's techniques had to freehand my splatters and hand stitch the stitching, but I love the my finished tag !!

On Your Wedding Day

 It's funny how we start a card which for me usually is with the image and I build round that,  but for this gate fold card it was with the papers !! 

 My sweet friend Nicki gave me some left over papers from the fab paper collection called "Blue Bay" by Kaisercraft and for me it shouts wedding !!

 

And how sweet is the Little Claire stamp set called "On Your Wedding Day " . I've paper pieced the happy couple and decoupaged the bride,  then coloured their hair and skin using spectrum noir pens.

 Even the little dog got paper pieced !!

 The sentiment comes with the stamp set too.

 To finish off I made two rolled roses using the teal card which came from my friend Carol as I didn't have anything which matched (cheers Carol !!) what would we do without crafty friends......and two ribbon bows !!

BUT not rain in my case....just flour !!

Where does the weekend go guys, really hope you had a fun one !!

This fortnight challenge over at House Mouse and Friends is "April Showers" and my Happy Hopper sure is making loads of showers of flour !!

I've used this time a Joanna Sheen decoupage sheet which has loads of layers to cut out. Papers are from my stash, faux stitching round edges, a few die cuts and a couple of ribbon roses from the fab trim I got in one of my local shops !!
