Woolly Jumper Dogs !!

.......well these cute guys look as if they were made from christmas woolly knitted  jumpers !!

I have a lot of doggy friends so wanted to make some special cute doggy christmas cards for them.

  .
I've used two Dreamweaver Stencils, the cute dog and the christmas borders

Just used two distress inks, Picked Raspberry and Mowed Lawn and stippled one light base colour then layed the christmas border on top and stipled through again a heaver layer of ink. With a fine liner black pen I then drew round the inside of the stencil.

Here are a few of my first colour combo samples

Next fussy cut out each dog ( cute dog die on wish list ) and mounted onto 3d foam tape and topped with a christmas bell and bow.

Each dog has then been mounted onto a 5" x 5" piece of card edged with matching ink colour and wavy fine line of black, then this has been 3d mounted onto a 6" x 6" card blank also edge inked with black wavy line to match. Topped off with some stickles sparkle to ground each dog !!

There you have it, quick, simple and very cute woolly christmas jumper  dog cards !!

Would love to enter:
Dream It Up; quick and/or cute
A Gem of a Challenge; anything christmas
Open Minded Challenges; unusual christmas
