Christmas cards

Here I am again with my second post of the day !!

Sponsored this week by

With a fab prize of 7 digi's of the winner choice !!

I have used this cute "Snowbear" digi

Now I got so excited that I will confess I made my secret christmas box first, then our lovley Susan pointed out our challenge was christmas cards ( I missed the cards bit altogether) !! So I then made my matching christmas card.

I have just got a fab paper pad by BoBunny called "Snow day" which are all blues, greens and mustard so I decided to make this set for a male friend of mine, blokes can be so hard to make for.  The gift box did have chocolates in, but as you can see they are no longer there...now who could have eaten them ??

I must thank my blogger friend Katina who's blog I saw this fab secret box on and knew I just had to make one, so thanks Katina !!

I coloured the lovely Snowbear with promarkers and added some sparkle with good old stickles and mounted him on a scalloped circle cut on my cricut. The White Stuff sentiment was also cut on my cricut. I do use alot of 3D foam tape to raise everything and all the centre panel on my card  and the panels on the box have been raised using this. Just finished off the card with two bits of ribbom and tied a knot bow on one side.

There you have it,  a nice manly christmas card with matching secret box !!

Uh oh! Naughty! Naughty! YOU ate all of the chocolates in the box? I was wondering here they went when I saw the other photo. Hehehe! Great box and matching card, Diane! I agree with you that men can be so difficult to make things for but I am sure your friend will love this set. Great paper choices for a man. I love the design of the card, with the scalloped circle and the 2 blue strips of card stock along the sides.
I am going to have to learn how to make that box, too. And that image is definitely on my "To Buy" list.
Great job!

Thank you!
