My word isn't the weather up and down, we seem to be very chilly here ...

Anyhoo time for another fun House Mouse and Friends challenge Anything Goes or Lets be Square.

This Stampendous HMD is called " Birthday Gift " and this time I have used promarkers to colour it. Made an inky sky with distress inks and drew in the grass and flowers with promarkers as well.

 Although my main love is stamping and anything cute, I like to do allsorts and this is one of my allsorts......

 The stamps are by Creative Expression and I've used some of them to make the background and then stamped the gents onto punched out hexagons using a Fiskars punch, also adding a few of my thumb prints as well !!

Here is my "Lets Eat" bit of mousey fun using Stampendous HMD called "Juggling Berries" and I decided to make a round easel card for a change.

Made a background for my little guy with distress inks for sky and promarkers for the grass.  Coloured the rest with promarkers also and added some glossy accents to the berries. Stamped a few extra berries and then fussy cut them out for embellishments. The little flowers were made using a die.

Bio.

I have been drawing since a child and studied graphics at College many years ago, I now work as a Medical photographer part time but my love was always drawing. I started cardmaking about 4yrs ago when I bought my daughter a cardmaking kit which we did together, but I’m afraid I got the bug! My daughter preferred scrapbooking. I then started looking online at other blogs and this then became my passion and I loved sharing my cards with like minded people.

I love stamping and loved finding images, but sometimes I could not find what I wanted so I started to draw myself.

This then has become my second addiction and I have never looked back, I love thinking of new images, and its just fabulous to see others take them and make them into beautiful works of art. Long may it continue!

Add Some Texture

Hi guys !!

Simon Says Stamp wed challenge is "Add Some Texture" and there are many fun ways to add some texture to your cards and on mine I have embossed a piece of pale pink pattern paper and then gone over the words with distress ink to make them pop.

 Just had to make yet another fun card using Tim Holtz Crazy Dog stamps and this one is wearing his very own flower hat made using Tim Holtz's Tiny Tattered Florals. 

Got just the right words above his head don't you think......

Black and White plus one....

and my plus one is BLUE !!

 

 Love this months Penny Black and More challenge and have only just got this fun and very cute set of stamps called "Hello Friend", so had to use it !!

 I've inked my cloud background and coloured using a blue promaker. Added a bit more detail to the cat with a black fine liner pen and doodled a border also.

Hello There

and happy Sunday to you guys !!  Here's a nice cheeky fun anytime card with some fab Rose Gingham ribbon from Crafty Ribbons.

I love to make cards that will make someone smile who receives it and I think this one fits the bill. The cute flower was made using Spellbinders die D-Lites Create a Sunflower, but as you can see it doesn't have to be a sunflower by simply shaping each petal down. The gingham ribbon is just right to finish this happy little card.

Happy Birthday

Its Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenges 9th Birthday !!  So I thought I would play a long and join in the celebration with their "Happy Birthday" theme !!

Oh I do love my colour and my Crazy Dog stamps,  so I had a bit of fun with distress oxides stamping and colouring with this fun Birthday card !!

Fiskars Friends

Morning peeps !!

I really had so much fun creating this layout and making the embellishments , from knitting on cocktail sticks to making my own Fiskars scissors !!

This is the first time I have used fabric on a layout and it was so much fun whizzing round on my sewing machine attaching the circles onto my page !!

Keren and I met up at the Knitting and Stitching Show at Olympia in March, we didn'#t stop laughing !!

Love my beaded sheep !!

Easter Egg Fun !!

All the local schools in my town have got together and decorated loads of eggs and hung them in some of the trees around the town !! They are all different and look so pretty and always makes me smile....So I decided to decorate my own egg with loads of ribbons which can be found in the Crafty Ribbons online shop HERE and made a scrapbook page !!

I just made a pastel inky background on my 12" x 12" piece of card, then added a few rows of ribbon to the bottom. Next drew a large egg onto a piece of white a4 card and cut out covering it with rows of ribbon. Mounted a few small photos onto matching card, then onto front of egg. I've mounted the egg with 3d foam tape so I could make an extra pull out photo matt.

Then just added a big bow and die cute some letters for the title. And there you have it, one bright and fun lay out !!
