Saturday at cards club we made "Peek a Boo" cards which I haven't made for a very long time !!! Wasn't very keen on the stamps we were using so didn't use them, used my own stamps when I got home.....
On the first one I used a Sweet Dixie set called "Honey Bunny" with wording from a Woodware set.
For my second card I used a Woodware set called "Succulents" and the same wording set.
And I have use one of my fantastic new gift stamps from Stampendous called "Christmas Kiss" on my non traditional Christmas card. Aren't they adorable !!
Stamped and coloured in with Copics added some frantage snow. Some pink frosty ribbon and purple bobble trim. Punched "Love" using a Fiskars punch and die cut "at Christmas "

Well it was a chilly day yesterday.....I'm not really moaning as you know I don't do hot !!
Got another Prima doll to share with you today, this time her skirt is made using Crafty Ribbons Sheer Puff Dots which comes in so many colours !!
Made an inky background for my card with distress inks adding some
stamping and colouring. Stamped my doll onto white card and coloured in
using Copics. Then cut double lengths of ribbon and gathered up, then
glued to skirt in layers, finishing off with a cute ribbon bow. Attached
my doll to card front with 3d foam tape. Stamped my sentiment onto white
card , the cut words apart adding them to front of card. The sentiment
is by Woodware.
Been a bit wet here and the power has been on and off. Why is it you always want a cup of tea when the power goes off and you can't have one ??
Found my Prima doll stamps and just had to have a play with them !!
I use to love the paper dress up dolls that came free with the comics !!
Made a stamped and inky water background, then stamped my doll onto card, coloured and fussy cut her out. Paper pieced the top of her dress and then made the skirt using the Fiskars feather punch using two pattern papers. Then used 3d foam tape to attach her to the front of my card. the sentiment is by Woodware, they have some fab new ones out !!
These little guys sure are having fum picking their berries !!. I've stamped and fussy cut some extra leaves and one of the mice to add to my little scene.

Gwen, one of my ladies was broken into in the afternoon by two men using
crow bars. Gwen was just coming out of her kitchen . The men got away
with about £150 in cash, but thankfully they did not harm her.. I'm
hoping to raise her £150 and a bit more to give her a little lift and
show that someone cares. Gwen is 90..........
I wanted to make something different and came up with the idea I would challenge myself to see how many things I could make from an old pair of jeans kindly donated by my brother.
The first project was this wrist cuff using ribbons from Crafty Ribbons.
Made from a strip cut off one of the legs.
Now my next project for Fiskarettes UK... a denim note book using one of the pockets.
Just cut a piece from the jeans round one pocket the size you would like your note book to be. next cut two cardboard pieces the same size, cover one with pattern papers on both sides, the other only one side. Glue the denim piece on the front of this one. Punch holes down left hand side to take your wires.
I bought a cheap A4 lined not book, punched holes as before and cut it down to size to fit my cover and then bound with my wires. Then you can go mad with decorating the front with ribbons, buttons and pearls !!
The pocket is fab for holding your fav pens and scissors ect.....
Now talking about scissors, I have a fantastic pair of designer Fiskars scissors to give away to one lucky person in the UK.
Just add you name to Mr Linky and I will pick a winner on Monday 3rd July !!
hugs Diane xx
