are two stamp sets I found I had from Katy Sue Designs a very long time ago, so it was time I had a play with them !!

I grabbed some off cuts of white card and made more of my inky backgrounds just mixing colours, then away I went stamping !!

Warning over load of photo's......

This was the last little strip of inky background I just couldn't throw away.......made a fab card !!

Little Piggy

So nice to have cooler days and some rain......gives poor old Hugo and I some time to recover and guilty free crafty play time !!

Love playing with my distress inks making inky backgrounds and I was very lucky and won a new SU stamp set called "Litle Piggy" on fb !!   Love love love the flying piggy !!

Monday again and off we go with another House Mouse and Friends Challenge !!

Me being me I chose BOTH !!

Love this Stampendous HMD called " Pretty Guinea ". Shes all ready to party I think !!  Just stamped and coloured with my usual Copics.  I've used a Sweet Dixie die to make the flowers adding gem dots to centres and some ribbon and bows at bottom.

Morning guys !!

Today is my first DT post for Crafty Ribbons !!  Lovely Ali asked me to join the design team and as you know I always have ribbon on my projects so what could be better than to have loads of wonderful ribbon to play with !!

 

So today I have for you a chicken box card using Crafty Ribbons "Summer Festival Chicken" ribbon to go with my "Hey Chick" Stampin Up stamps !!

Lots of fun stamping, colouring in with copics and fussy cutting out on this one .

I always find it hard to get good photos of this kind of shaped card, but I think you get the picture.

Card Club

 Saturday was Card Club at AMOM and we made two cards using the free stamps that came with the Creative Stamping magazine.

Fiskarettes UK

 

 Most of you guys know I design for Fiskars on the Fiskarettes UK fb page. If you have never checked it out then please do as the team have some amazing inspiring projects to share with you !!

GD for Crafty Ribbons

The lovely Ali from Craft Ribbons asked me if I would like to do a Guest Designer spot on FB,  now who is going to say no to that !!

 So here is my project,  a wrist cuff made with the Butterfly Ribbon Pack

It's very easy to make from a strip of denim cut from the leg of an old pair of jeans ( mine  kindly donated by my brother )

Everything is hand sewn with invisible thread. From my stash I cut a piece of knitting lace in half and added a piece top and bottom, then a piece of the check ribbon. Next I gathered a piece of sheer ribbon and attached it down the middle. Then I fussy cut some of the butterflies out adding two together and attaching then on top of the gathered ribbon. Finished off with two rows of pearls and two hooks and eyes to fasten the cuff.

Think of all the fabulous Craft Ribbons  YOU COULD  use to make this !!

 Just pull the cloud and watch Monica fly revealing the hidden message  !!

 

 

This super cute Stampendous HMD is called "Umbrella Ride" and Monica is really enjoying it !!

 

Love making inky cloud backgrounds as everyone turns out different. Stamped and coloured Monica using Copics and then fussy cut her out attaching her to the slider. Punched out a few clouds inking all the edges. Finished off with some pattern paper, lace and ribbon with heart button.

Amongst my Birthday cards last Monday were a few fab handmade ones and one even had a handmade envelope ( thanks Tracy). The paper was so pretty I just couldn't throw it away....so made this card with it.  Had so much fun fussy cutting out the butterflies !!
