Bright and breezy

Well we appear to be enjoying a bit of summer at last although I don't fair very well in heat, but love the sunshine !!

Made some more bright cards using the Altenew set called "Beautiful Day"

 

  I love the multi layering and masking off to make your own designs and with postage costs they are only one layer, but colourfu and have such an impact !!  The sentiment stamps are by Woodware.

Pug love....

 Just adored the free papers and border stamps that came with Junes Making Cards magazine. I don't usually like the free stamps that come with craft magazines, but the border stamps are fantastic !!

 I've used them to stamp on the papers and as borders, then made some rosettes, stamped paw prints onto die cut hearts, added some ribbon, dollies and pearls.

Whatever you have planned for the weekend...have fun !!

Patch Bunny

Rain rain go away comes to mind......is it raining where you are ??

anyhoo....

Had to have this Woodware bunny stamp called "Patch Bunny" as soon as I saw it seeing I am a big bunny fan !! Its really an Easter set of stamps, but as you can see I've made a Birthday card by masking out the "easter" on one of the sentiment stamps that come with the set and adding Birthday instead.

I've stamped onto water colour card and coloured using distress inks. The bunny would be fab paper pieced which is my next card I think !!

So cute......

Been making this super cute special Birthday easel card for a special friend using MFT stamp set called "Up In The Air" !! Its such a sweet set and so many ways you can use it.

 

The papers are from LOTV who I also adore. Stamped and coloured using my fab copics and then loved all the fussy cutting out !!

More playing......

I'm really enjoying just playing !! 

 

As you know I once had nine guinea pig boys and loved them all...well my friend Sue suggested my last design ( see in post below)  would be fun with guinea pigs, so I found a small stamp just right for the job .

 

 Tried a different colour combo for the next one.

Just playing...

Some days I just feel like playing and the last few days I have been making backgrounds with distress inks and getting a bit messy !!

I started on this one just blobbing my round blender tool with different colours at the bottom and then blending just pink at top. On the pink I then splattered water. I've used some stamps from different sets from IndigoBlu and one tree stamp from my stash. With a fine black liner pen I then drew in some detail round my blobs making little hills and adding some grass and flowers. I've used some chunky white embossing powder for the sky stars and the fabulous sentiment is by Woodware.
