One for the guys !!

Morning peeps !!

If you have popped over from the Fiskarettes UK fb page then welcome to my blog !!

Here's a fun pop up panel card for any guy in your life !!

Now I hope you have a cuppa as this post is photo loaded !!

You will need to cut and score one piece of card 4 1/4" x 11", score at 5 1/2" ( this is your card base )
and another  piece of 2 3/4" x 11" , score at 2 3/4"--5 1/2"--8 1/4"

On a piece of  8 1/2" x 11" card draw a line at 5 1/2" down centre. Mark both sides of this at 4 1/4". Now draw a lines across at 2 1/8"--4 1/4"--6 3/8" as in photo.

On the 2 1/8" and 3 3/8" lines mark in at both ends 4", then draw a line up to 4 1/4" marks at top and bottom to make tab shapes.

Cut out all four corner sections as in photo.
Now fold and crease card in half both ways

Turn card round so tab shapes are on your left and right sides. Take centre crease line on right hand side down to meet and line up with centre line and crease diagonally.

 Repeat on other side

Now push and fold in both tab section to form house shape and crease well.

Open up card. take your scored 2 3/4" x 11" and concertina fold.

With the two folds facing upwards, place in middle at bottom edge.
Add a small amount of glue on right hand tab bottom edge as shown in photo.

Now close card and press.

Flip card over and repeat with other tab.

Now glue whole piece to inside card base !!

Phew....you should now have one pop up panel card !!

I have used Fiskars star punch to decorate,  cut the letters and large star using the shape cutter and templates and added some bling !!

Please share on Fiskarettes UK if you have a go at this card, we would all love to see it !!

If stuck with anything, then just leave me a comment and I'll try to help.

hugs Diane xx
