Here's my second card this time using "Daisy Float"

Made a cute rocking card this time, I'm always amazed they rock !! Also made all the flowers from matching papers, added loads of lace and pearls !!

Someone has had far too much to eat I think.....the stamp is called " Cupcake Belly"

Had super fun with frantage on the cupcake and letters, coloured using disdress inks and Spectrum Noir pens, lots of pearls, lots of lace, hessian and die cut two cream dollies !!

Gnome 1

Remember the fab new gnome ribbons I won from Crafty Ribbons on fb ??

Well here's my first gnome make ...

It's an MDF tag shaped stand which I've made for my borthers friends Birthday next week. He asked me to make a christmas themed card because she is mad about christmas, but I thought it would be nice as a present as well which could be bought out at christmas as a decoration !!

I've made it around the gnome house ribbon at the bottom  ( you can find it HERE )  and tried to match all the colours to that.  The cute christmas gnome is a stamp by Woodware coloured with Spectrum Noir pens, used some bobble trim and purple ribbon as well as frantage for the snow and lots of sparkle on gnomes beard and snowflake !!

Well one thng for sure.....you won't find another one in the shops this christms !!

Dream.....

When I first saw this stamp on my friend Rachel's blog I knew I had to have  it !!  It's by Trish Latimer and you can find it HERE

Now I had way too much fun stamping her and making the background that I didn't know when to stop !!

 

I always find it amazing what you can create using a plain piece of white card which I started with. First I stamped my Wordgirl, then used 5 distress inks to colour the background.Peeled Paint, Squeezed Lemonade, Dusty Concord, Picked Raspberry and Spiced marmarlade.

Then used some of Tim Holtz masks and inked using the same distress inks. Took a perfect perals cap and inked with white to stamp some circles, them used a SU small dot stamp with black ink. Finished off the background with a white glaze pen to add some white dots. Coloured in my Wordgirl using Spectrum Noir pens and added the chipboard letters.

Think I will make some gift tags using her next or shall I buy another one of the wordgirls........ummmmmmmm

Yarn Bombed !!

My town has been "Yarn Bombed" and it's wonderful !!

It has been wrapped, covered or got fun things hanging everywhere and it's fantastic, all hand knitted and so colourful !!

My photo's doesn't do justice to all the hard work which has gone into every hand knitted piece or what a colourful sight it is !!

This is all part of our annual festival week which ended yesterday with a street fair ( I took these photos Friday)  But we have never been " Yarn Bombed " !!
