Wizard Charlie

 Time for another challenge at

and its

"Anything Goes"

with a fab prize of

 

Wizard Charlie is just right for my pop up gift box !!

Pull the draw open...

and "surprise" up pops Charlie !!

This would sure put a smile on any guy in your life !! The box could be filled with sweets, money or a gift card or even a watch !!

Wizard Chalire measures 4" x 2 1/2" so I made the box  5 1/4" x 3 1/4" x 1". Cut four stars and embossed them and used CSD "Birthday Circles" to go on top adding,  yes you've guessed,  faux stitching !! Charlie has been coloured in using promarkers and  then put onto a piece of acetate ( mine came from an easter egg packaging) and attached to the inside of the box draw. Then pierced a hole and added a piece of tule. Finished off with adding stickles glitter !!

Rain or Shine

My word how right is that at the mo......boy we have had some down pours and you're just unlucky to get caught in one !!

Today I've got this sweet card to show you using a Penny Black stamp called "Rain or Shine"

Just stamped and coloured in using promarkers, added a real lace border and bows, made the roses using a heart punch and a Memory box die to cut the twiggy bits.

.....and loads of faux stitching !!

One for the guys !!

Thought I'd share with you this morning a card I've made for my cousin's hubby, its his birthday tomorrow !! I know a lot of you struggle with cards for the guys in your life.....

I've used  stamp set's by Stampendous called "Love Robotz" and "Botz Quotz"

I love making little scenes. My cloud effect is quick to do, but the grass does take a bit longer as you need three or four colour greens and small flicks with your pens, but its worth it  !!

Darling Daschunds

Morning guys !!  My turn today for Littles Claires fabby do friday project for you,  a mini album in a tin using "Darling Daschunds" 

You better grab a cuppa and a seat as there are loads of photo's !!

You will need:

silver tin box 3 3/8"x 3 3/8"

white card

2 sheets of patterned paper

promarkers

26" gingham ribbon

blue ink pad

sponge

 1. Cut 2 strips of white card  3 1/4" x  9 3/4" and score at 3 1/4 and 6 1/2. Cut one more strip at 3 1/4" x 6 1/2" and score at 3 1/4"

2. On the 3 1/4" x 6 1/2" stamp the small daschunds on left hand square at bottom. On one of the 3 1/4" x 9 3/4" stamp daschunds at bottom of two left hand squares . On second 3 1/4" x 9 3/4" stamp largs daschund with flowers in fisrt left hand square and small daschunds in second left hand square.

3.Fold each strip and round corners.

4. Colour in all images using promarkers and then make a light cloud effect background. This is very easy, I use a cloud shape cut from card and then pick up a bit of ink on a sponge from a blue ink pad and lighty dab round my cloud shape moving it as I go across my background.

5. Turn all three pieces over and cover back of each square as shown in photo with pattern paper.

6. Concertina fold all three strips and then glue all three strips together to form one long concertina.

7. Cover tin front and inside lid with patterened paper.

8. Stamp a 3 1/4" x 1" strip of white card with small daschunds and colour in and glue to front of tin.

9. Attach ribbon to inside bottom of tin.

10. Then glue concerina strip on top of ribbon.

11. Now have fun adding your photo's !!  Here are my two fur babies Taz and Hugo !!

Lots of die cut circles in card and gingham paper, loads of faux stitching, tule, punched buttons, fussy cutting and coloured Scruff with promarkers and paper pieced his bed and hung on a lovely piece of yellow gingham ribbon !!

As you can see I went OTT with my rocker card using the fabulous CSD digi Benson Bear - Couples stamp !!

This is such a lovely image which could be used for anniversaries, wedding , engagements and valentine.

Done my usual cloud effect background and colouring with promarkers and added a grass effect as well. As you can see I have used loads of dies, lace, pearls and ribbon. I've also used chipboard letters for "LOVE" and embossed them with white embossing powder and then added more pearls !!

Now all I have to do is make a box for this special card !!

Happy Hopper

Hope you're all having a fab weekend !! A bit of sunshine sure lifts the spirit......

You all know I am a Houise Mouse Designs fan,  all the images are super cute and I love cute !!  So its no surprise I have made this...

This sweetie is from a Happy Hopper set called "Special Day"

I've embossed my four squares of backing paper with swirls and then machine stitched the edges ( love my wonky stitching, its a new toy ) Made my flowers from dies and punches using the matching paper from a pack called  "Suger and Spice" by Dovecraft. Coloured my cute bunny with promarkers and pan pastels and finished off with a few small pearls !!

Ummmmmm "less is more" has no meaning for me !!

Morning peeps !!

Still got the sunshine and it really does now feel like spring !! Trouble is the weeds and grass are growing like mad !!

Well another month has passed so time for another

Little Claire challenge !!

our theme this month is 

"Lots of Layers"

Sure is lots of layers on my round telescopic card !!

My cute LC image is called "Armsful of Wishes". On the second circle I have used the edge of the flowers to stamp a border round the sentiment which comes from the LC set called "Good Times".  Just love doing my cloud effect background. Used promarkers to colour with, embossed a swirl pattern on some of the circles, made a flower using a cheery lyn die and finished off all the edges with little black dots !!

Zentangled mushrooms

Sorry guys I forgot to show you what we made when Linsay Mason came to my local craft centre AMOM. It was  a wall hanging and this is mine. 

 

Very OTT...

We all got one of Lindsay's new Mushroom/ Fungi stamps which we all did our own zentangling in. Then played with paints, distress inks and guilding wax. I've also added some white thick embossing powder. I didn't punch the holes at the top for ribbon as I'm going to make mine into a book cover.

This is Lindsay's inspiration one for us.
