Red, White and Green

This weeks challenge at Crafty Sentiments Designs is

RED, WHITE AND GREEN

And up for grabs

I know I'm a GDT, but all the images at Crafty Sentiments Designs are fabulous !!

Flora with Flowers is one of those images

She is one of the manga style images and can be found HERE

I decided not to make a christmas card, but an anytime card with Flora.

I have just done a lot of matting and layering using paper from Trimcrafts Pepper's Christmas Party paper pack and die cut a few sparkles and then coloured Flora with promakers.  Just love her big eyes !!  To finish off I crinkled some ribbon with a heat gun to make my bow.
Do you know about

Spooky Owl

Who else is not enjoying this wet and windy weekend ??

Well why not get yourself a nice hot cuppa and some chocky biscuits and create something for our challenge at Robyn's Fetish this week !!

CHALLENGE #135

Our sponsor this week is

With a $10 voucher to spend online

For my card this week I have used one of our sponsors image's called Spooky Owl Silhouette
and RED as my other colour.

I ended up making a very thought provoking card I think as the image is so peaceful...

You can't see, but I have decoupaged the image three times. The first layer is the whole image, the second the moon and owl and the third just the owl. I've toned down the background round the moon with a black ink pad and drew a wavy line to edge it. Again you can't see in my photo that I have hilighted some of the tree with stickles to make it sparkle a bit.

The Robyn's Fetish girls have loads more to showcase for you on the challenge blog so please have a look at

 Robyn's Fetish Challenge Blog

and please if you can leave a comment so we know you have called . Better still join in the challenge you never know you might be a winner !!

Harry & Hilly

Good morning to all !!

Time again for another challenge at The Crafty Pad and this week its our Pauline's turn to set the challenge theme

CHALLENGE # 198 ADD SOME GLITTER

You can really go to town with glitter !!
I hate the stuff and only use stickles as you may have notice , but I know you lot out there loves it so this is the challenge for you !!

Our lovely sponsor this week is Joanna Sheen with
a £10 voucher to spend online.

Team A's turn to try and give you some inspiration which includes me.

For my card this week I have used the fab
Crafty Pad Designs digi of Harry & Hilly on Toadstool
and one of the circle christmas sentiments

Now when I say I hate glitter I mean loose glitter, but I love the effect glitter gives you and as you can see I have used just a bit... well rather a lot actually !!

Cut the snowflakes with my cricut and the swirls using a marianne die and then covered with diamond stickles. Coloured Harry & Hilly with promarkers, then some ribbon top and botton with a bow at bottom. There you have it......a sweet pair of christmas hedgehogs !!

Be sure to check what other creations the rest of Team a have for you over at The Crafty Pad Challenge Blog and get that glitter flowing !!

Make It Vintage !!

Well I for one love the vintage look and guess what.....

Our challenge #134 this week at Robyn's Fetish is

Our lovely sponsor is " A Day For Daisies " with a super prize of $12 to spend online.

For my vintage card I have used one of A Day For Daisies images called Vintage Grass Hopper

Mr grass hopper has been paper piece and coloured with promakers. I first printed him onto a piece of craft card and then inked and distressed the edges. Then I got to play with my frantage which is a mixture of embossing powders and glitters and all sorts of things which gave me a snowy effect !!

The papers are from a pad called Joyful Peace by G.C.D and as you can see I have distressed all the edges of these as well. Made three folded roses which take a while to get to grips with, but well worth the effort I think !! They 're one of those things, the more you do the better you get !! Just finished off with a piece of fab lace.

You must pop over and see what fab creations the rest of the team have for you over at Robyn's Festish Challenge Blog !!

Christmas !!

I hope you guys are now really into your christmas card making !!

The challenge this week at Crafty Sentiments Design is

CHRISTMAS

Easy peasy or what !!

I decided to make a christmas tag this time, but not in your usual colours !!

This cute little snowman image is called " Birdhouse Snowman " and can be found HERE

The tag background was coloured using two distress inks. I then coloured a piece of white card with a lilic promarker for my layer behind the image and to die cut the snowflakes. Then coloured a small piece of white card with a pink promarker to die cut some smaller snowflakes to mat on top of the larger lilic ones.  The holly swirls were cut using a Cheery Lyn die. I  never like bare edges so I nearly always have to do some faux stitching to finish off !!

You'll find loads of fab christmas images in the Crafty Sentiments Designs store and some more great projects from the DT's waiting for you over at the Crafty Sentiments Design Challenge Blog !!

Have fun !!

This is the page I got

And this is my scrap lift of a design by Katie Fox

Chocky was my last bun who passed away a few years ago now, but he was gorgeous !!

The papers I have used are from a collection called Tail Waggers & Cat Nappers by Bella BLVD.
