Dream Wishes

This months challenge on the Woodware Blog is this sketch:

For my card I have rotated the sketch and used the Woodware stamp set called  "Indian Dreams" by Francoise Read. The flower edgeing and elephants are stamps from the set, but the rest of the patterened background has been doodled. Both the elephants have been stamped, cut out and then raised.

Card Club

This months card club at AMOM was to make two baby cards using two of the new release stamps from Wildrose Studio.

Here are my two cards and aren`t the stamps  cute !! The only design change I made was the flowers.

As usual I challenged myself to made another card from the bits I had left over. I only had to add the ribbon. This time the image is one from Little Claires.

Over my time with my blog, I have met and made lots of lovely blogger friends !!  Thank you all !! I have one very special blogger friend called Sophie who I have watched grow up. Sophie has special needs, but this doesn`t stop her from doing what she wants and she knows what she wants !!  She has decided to do the Sports Relief Mile which will be a real challenge for her.  Please if you can, encouraged her with your words and sponser her with your money !!  I`m not one who usually asks, but this is very special to me.......

Some Bunny Loves You

Another week has flown by..........so that means we have another challenge for you at The Crafty Pad. This week it has an optional theme of " Some Bunny Loves You" (must have rabbit/rabbits on) and/ or a sketch. Here is the sketch:

One for the boys !!

Its my big brovs birthday next week, so I made him this clean and simple card !! It will be a case of "oh yes very nice" being a man.....But clean and simple cards can be very striking.

We sometimes over look the smaller stamps in a set, but for me they can be the best bits !! I have used another set by Little Claire Designs called "Oh Man" and as you can see the socks are one of the smaller stamps in the set. I just stamped the socks out 8 times and coloured them in with promarkers and then cut them out.

Spring/Easter

I love all stamps, but I have a few favourites and "Little Claire" stamps are one of them !! Their challenge this month is: Spring/Easter.

The stamp I have used is called "Seesaw" and I just thought the little hedgehogs looked full of spring !! I just love the pastel gingham paper which I have also made the flowers with. This style of easel step card adds a bit of depth and I have also 3d the hedgehogs.

Micey Mice

I decided yesterday to pay a special visit to my lovely friend Grace who is 94 years young !! I went armed with a bunch of daffys, a catapillar cake from tesco`s and this sweet little card.......

The poem is not by me, but was just right in what I wanted to say to Grace. The cute little mice are a stamp set by Woodware and the papers from Wildrose Studio.

Grace and I had a good old natter for a few hours over a cuppa and a big piece of cake !!

The Perfect Pair

Hope you are all enjoying your weekend !! Can`t say the weather has been much !!

Our challenge this week at The Crafty Pad is "The Perfect Pair". We would like to see at lest : 2 pairs of 2 things the same ie 2 buttons and 2 ribbons etc.

All the DT`s on Team A got to choose which Crafty Pad Design they would like to work with so I choose Debbies fab digi " Ladies Fancy Shoe"

I tried to make my card look like a pretty box by giving it a lid with the lace, rose and sentiment tag. The "Fabulous Friend" ticket tag is also one of Debbie`s fab digi stamps. The ladies shoe I have printed out twice to make a pair and the decoupaged one slightly over the other. I coloured the shoes with promarkers and then made several pairs of roses to decorate them. The dots I have glazed with glossy accents to make them look like pearls. This is a really femine card which any lady would love to recieve I think !!

Ferguson the Hedgehog !!

The freebie over at Pollycraft is fab !! He`s called "Feguson the Hedgehog" sooo cute I just had to have him !!

I`ve made this cute twisted easel card using papers from Craftwork Cards.

Ferguson and his flower have been 3D and coloured with promarkers. All the papers have been distressed (like me ) and then some faux stitching added.

Pollycrafts challenge this week is a lovely sketch.

So I thought I would have a go as I love challenges !!

Bunnies on a log

We have a second new release today  at The Crafty Pad !!  Debbies new digi " Bunnies on a Log" are soooo cute and just right for Easter , Birthdays etc.

For my sample card I have made a little scene. The bunnies and log are paper pieced and the log is 3D and are the front opening of the card. The scene is the back of the card and I have used the log as a tree. The sun is made using one of Debbies sentiments.

Scrap Club

On Saturday it was Scrap Club at AMOM. The photo`s to be used were on a Hobbies and Interest theme. My photo will make you smile..............yes that is my crafting desk underneath all the CLUTTER !!

We had a template to follow and had to use lots of patterned paper and make our own embellishment clusters, everything to be used came in our kits.

A really fun class and everyone choose a different kit to fit their photo`s, so they were all different !!

From this.....

a good old Amazon box, I made this....

A fab Mother`s Day banner or it could be a birthday banner instead !! I just cut freehand five triangles from the box and then covered them with book print paper from Stampin Up. The same paper I used on my last project. Toned the paper down with some lavender ink,  cut a lace boarder from the paper to edge each flag, cut out each image and coloured in with promarkers and then mounted them. Just highlighted the hearts with a bit of glossy accents, punched holes in tops of each flag to thread through some lavender ribbon !! I think it would put a smile on any mothers face !!

A lovely gift

Thought I would show you my lovely easel photo frame/ calender  with four draws !!  This would make a fab gift for your mum !! Sadley my mum is no longer with me, but the photo is of her aged eight. I have her frown.....

There are four draws around the bottom, I have only pulled out two. The papers are from Stampin Up and I have aged them with distress inks and then stamp and embossed them with a stamp also from Stampin Up. The photo frame is the easel part and the calendar the stop for it. The flowers have been made with eight rounds of the same paper and then crumbled up and held in middle witha  brad. The leaves were cut with a sizzix die.
