Add a Charm

Oh my Monday morning again, where did the weekend go !!  I have enjoyed  it, been very busy with Christmas makes for a Hochands show next week so watch this space guys. some very lovely Christmas stuff on its way.......

So this fortnight its my turn to host the House Mouse and Friends Monday challenge and as always the theme is anything goes, but my option challenge theme for you guys is "Add a Charm"

This fun gruffie Stampendous HMD stamp is called "Wheel Bearrow" no I haven't spelt it wrong...On this one I have inked a blue background then added water drops. The fun two bears were then coloured with Promakers and added some different ribbons to the background. My charm is a fab "hug" token.

Maybe a bit shabby chic ??

Not sure, but I love it guys !!

Just the hem off one leg from my brothers jeans makes a sweet bracelet.

Add some fab cotton lace from Crafty Ribbons, a bit of embroidery and a few beads !!

These is enough to wrap it round your wrist twice and add a nice fastener. Would make a fun gift for a teenager I think.

 Well that would be ME then !!

Going to add a charm to the fastener as well I think....

Stitching real or faux

Morning guys !!

I always leave my Christmas card makes to the last minute, but decided this year I would try and get ahead. Our fun House Mouse and Friends challenge this fortnight is as always

Now I love doing machine stitching on my cards so I have added a lot on my Christmas card using the Stampendous HMD called "Angel Mice" My other love is anything with a vintage feel, so these papers were fab after a bit of distressing....

Bio.

I have been drawing since a child and studied graphics at College many years ago, I now work as a Medical photographer part time but my love was always drawing. I started cardmaking about 4yrs ago when I bought my daughter a cardmaking kit which we did together, but I’m afraid I got the bug! My daughter preferred scrapbooking. I then started looking online at other blogs and this then became my passion and I loved sharing my cards with likeminded people.

I love stamping and loved finding images, but sometimes I could not find what I wanted so I started to draw myself.

This then has become my second addiction and I have never looked back, I love thinking of new images, and its just fabulous to see others take them and make them into beautiful works of art. Long may it continue!

My brothers jeans.....

Morning guys !!

As some of you know I have been making things with the denim from a pair of old jeans which belonged to my brother...if he wants them back now their have turned into a very short pair of shorts !!

So thought I would share the makes so far starting with the last make , this cute hugs bear....
