In the garden.....

Morning guys and here we are at the start of another week, boy where did the weekend go......

This months Penny Black and More challenge is "In The Garden" and my two little guys are having a Birthday tea party in their garden....

The cute stamp is called "Hedgehog Birthday" and I've used distress inks and copic pens to colour it. The backing paper is one by Wild Rose Studio. The sentiment stamp is one from my stash And just had to top it off with a bib bow......

Happy Sunday guys !!

Well it is super to have a bit of summer as long as it doesn't get too hot !!

Yesterday I had fun making my cute little Crafty Ribbons caravan. It was so relaxing and would make a super stocking filler gift made in kit form for anyone. I'm not parting with mine though, its going to hang on my fabric bag.....

Morning guys !!

Have really been enjoying my cross stitch. My arthritis will only allow me to do small pieces, but they make fab cards !!  A simple card design was all that was need really.....

Caravan fun !!

I don't very often buy a crafty magazine, but a little while ago I wanted to get one which was not paper crafting. I adore doing cross stitch and hadn't done any for such a while, so when I saw these cute little caravans in The World of Cross Stitching magazine issue 268,  knew they would go with Crafty Ribbons "Summer Festival" Collection.  The one I have used is called "Camping Van"

The stitch patterns were designed by Rhona Norrie and you may of noticed I have made one little change on the caravan sign........

 

Just made my little wooden fences with strips of white card and made some pink bunting as well with card and black thread.

 

 Had so much fun making this card !!

Bio.

I have been drawing since a child and studied graphics at College many years ago, I now work as a Medical photographer part time but my love was always drawing. I started cardmaking about 4yrs ago when I bought my daughter a cardmaking kit which we did together, but I’m afraid I got the bug! My daughter preferred scrapbooking. I then started looking online at other blogs and this then became my passion and I loved sharing my cards with likeminded people.

I love stamping and loved finding images, but sometimes I could not find what I wanted so I started to draw myself.

This then has become my second addiction and I have never looked back, I love thinking of new images, and its just fabulous to see others take them and make them into beautiful works of art. Long may it continue!

Clarity playing....

Photo is a bit dark as it was taken late in the day,  but had fun today playing with Clairty stamp "Dutchie and Duke" from the Clarity Stamp Club 2017.  These two are still works in progress, but love how they are turning out !!  Watch this space for finished cards.....
