I love loads of layers and textures on my cards and for this one I've used several papers from my stash, two different sorts of lace, buttons and twine. Coloured with Spectrum Noir pens and added loads of faux stitching as usual.

Just Because...

I wonder how many of you send "just because" cards ???

 We all spend so much time on social media we forget to make and send a card just because !! The shame of it is,  we all love to receive something in the post other than BILLS !!

Anyhoo my "just because" card came about because my lovely friend Nicki went to Ally Pally and as well as buying herself a few crafty presents she also bought me a few fab presents "just because", how sweet was that !! One was this fantastic Heartfelt Creations stamp set called "Sugar Hollow Hangout"

 

 If you're not a fussy cutter out like I am then I recommend you buy the die set that goes with this set of stamps....the tree is a bit fiddly to cut out. Done my usual of making my ink cloud background, stamped, fussy cut and then coloured my tree, owl and swing, punched then shaped a few flowers adding pearls to centres and loads of faux stitching. Finished off with some lace, lace bow and big pearl centre !!

Spring Colours

Well spring keeps trying and then we seem to get winter again !!

 Anyhoo our challenge theme at LC Designs is

 "Spring Colours" 

 and for my DT make I have used the cute LC Designs stamp called "Tulip Cat"

 

Stamped and coloured in with Spectrum Noirs pens, used one sheet of LC Designs "Quirky Quilts" paper which I embossed to add some texture, used dies and punches, loads of my normal faux stitching all topped off with a big yellow bow and loads of fab pearls !!

The gorgeous prize up for grabs this time is 

Wowee what you could make with this little lot then  !! So why not enter !!

 I was very lucky to be one of Penny Black and More Challenge winners last month and my prize was this fab stamp called "Party Friends" !! How cute are these then !!

 

This time I have stamped and then coloured in using water colour pencils.

 Loads of mat and layering of pattern papers and faux stitching, finishing off with a double bow and cute heart button ( adore my heart buttons) and die cut Happy Birthday !!

In The Garden

Hope all you guys had a fab weekend !!  Weather not too bad here so hope some of you were able to get into the garden !!

Well Monday again and time for another House Mouse and Friends Challenge and this fortnights theme was chosen by Snoopy is

"In The Garden"

Well I had to go OTT with the flowers didn't I and what better choice of HMD stamp than "Scent Of Lilac"

Stamped and coloured with my usual Spectrum Noir pens and made my cloud background as usual as well. Used lots of ribbon which I pleated,  made loads of quilled flowers with some die cut leaves and finished off with my fab cute heart buttons !!

House Mouse & Stampendous Blog Hop midway !!

Morning guys !!

"Use stencils with our HMD Characters"

Here's my mid-way Challenge Blog Hop inspiration for you using again Dreamweavers gloss embossing paste and "Vintage Decor" stencil !!

My very happy mousey friend is HMD "Jelly Bean Nap"

Made my very colourful border by pasting through just the top of the stencil with gloss paste onto squares of card and then covering with micro beads while still wet !! This is best done holding over a large container as micro beads bounce all over the place !!  Great fun was had !!

Stamped and coloured my litte friend using distress inks and spectrum noir pens.

STAMPENDOUS!
