I really will be late for my own funeral.......but it will make everyone smile !!  Just got in by the skin of my teeth with my take on Tim`s tag...

This one was hard to photo because of the light catching the acetate butterfly wings...

Loved how my colours turned out as I didn't have any really bright ones. My first  card swipe through them came out very dark, but the second piece of card which is the one I've used is just right. The last swipe is very pale. I'm going to make two cards with the ones I haven't used.

I adore Tim's tag because of the bright colours which is really me !!   Me thinks I will have too invest in some more alcohol inks......

Fall/Halloween

Hope all you guys had a fab weekend !!  Not sure about mine,  Saturday had a flat tyre on the way to Card Club ,  luckily I can change them myself !!   Then yesterday poor Hugo stood on a wasp and got stung on his paw pad,  he shook for ages but after I gave him a pain killer he slept for a while and was OK !!  Could see me rushing off to the vets again....

Anyhoo time for some more mousey fun at House Mouse and Friends Monday challenge which is Fall/Halloween.

These little guys are really having fun !!

I've done my usual of stamping and colouring in with Spectrum Noir pens. Then made a frame and embossed it to look like wood to go around. papers are by Basic Grey called "Herbs and Homey". Finished off with some orange spotty ribbon bows and my pumpkins !!

Morning guys !!

Sorry I've been quiet this week, but been busy now making bits and pieces for a craft stall I'm having end of Nov. Sooo many things I want to make and can't decide which ones I going too.

Anyhoo got a simple card to show you this morning which I've made for my brothers wedding anniversary this week. It has a sort of early misty morning look about it I think.

Just blended three distress inks together to make the background, picked raspberry, squeezed lemonade and tumbles glass, ( love my bright colours as you know )  The stamps are by Artemio  called "Silhouette Foliage" and fab for making these kind of  scenes ( I do have trouble knowing when to stop...... )

Autumn

my most favourite time of year !!

And it just happens to be this months stamp challenge theme at Little Claires !!

For my card I've used "Whisper a Wish" silhouette stamp and made my own background papers with distress inks !!  Doesn't show up in my photo, but I've stamped and embossed the cute heggie image, added the sentiment and butterfly which comes with the set and then a few dots for the butterflies trails.

The leaves I cut using s Sizzix die from white card and coloured with distress inks also and then crumbled them up and added some sparkle to the edges. Finished off with a few curls of green card and a ribbon bow made with two ribbons, bit of twine and a button !!

Spent a lovely afternoon on Sunday catching up with my friends Nicki and Kurt.  Nicki goes to so much trouble to make me welcome and feel special. We had high tea with finger sandwiches and clotted cream scones !!  Don't remember the last time I had cute sarnies with the crust cut off,  as a child we were always told to eat the crusts as it would make our hair curl  !!  Mind you we had curly hair anyway...........

Anyhoo I adore playing with small scraps of paper and Nicki had saved me some from her lastest projects,  so I made this "Thank You" card using them.  It's a great way to get creative, use your scraps up and have thank you cards when you need them !!

 I was very lucky to win this fun cow stamp by Great Impression in a challenge a while back . It came with  sentiment bubbles and a cloud stamp too !!  This is my kind of stamp, sure to put a smile on anyones face and not your usual "Thank You" card !!

 I just stamped and coloured the cows using Spectrum Noir pens, added the grass and a few hand drawn flowers to make my little scene,  did a lot of matt and layering with my papers and black card,  then die cut the daisy and leaves.

Under The Sea

 

 was the theme for the August ATC swap over at Jo's

Remember this card I made using left over bits.....well the bits were from the four atc's above !!

The process for the atc's and card were the same, I coloured a piece of card with blue distress ink, fused a sheet of fibres together one with blue and green and another with red and yellow. Attached the blue and green on top of the blue card, then hand cut the coral out of the red and yellow and attached this also to the atc.  ( On my card I fused all the bits left over together to create my scene )   Added loads of frantage, some shells I made from paper clay coloured with gilding wax, a few gems and finished off with some liquid pearls for the bubbles.
