Ooooh lemons !!

Well we survived yesterday....high winds and heavy rain all afternoon !!  It was horrible, even my two dogs kept their legs crossed and didn't want to go out in it !!  One thing, you never feel bad sitting crafting on a day like that.....

Anyhoo...

Time for a mid- reminder for House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge which is "Friends"

Loads of fab prizes to be won so check it out now !!

This card just makes me smile ....look at that poor little guys face . It makes me suck my lips in just thinking about it !!  Does anyone know if mice do eat lemons ??

The papers are from a collection pack called "Family Ties" by Pebbles and I just love the colours. Fussy cut out some of the flowers from the papers to embellish adding a few jems, loads of distressed edges, pearls and ribbon and stamped my own sentiment using a fab alphabet set by Amazing Creations called "Complete Swirly Alphabet". Coloured in with my Spectrum Noirs.

Bunting !!

I have had great fun creating this "Get Well Soon" card using Little Claires "Bunting" set. It's very simple to make....

I just inked a piece of white card to make my cloud background, then mounted it onto a 6" x 6" card blank, cut a few strips of white card to make the fence inking all the edges, cut a piece of green paper to look like grass and then went to town stamping and colouring, fussy cutting my banner out, threading it onto a piece of twine, all finished off with a die cut bird which I coloured to look like a robin !!

Now the fun thing with this alphabet set is you can spell out anything you like....

What I'm enjoying is finding bits and pieces and looking at them differently.  You really do have to think out of the box....no one will know how much work you have put into making it,  but who cares !!

I already have a plan what to do with my finished tags which you will see very soon....

Love is in the Air !!

Why not send someone special some love and join in our mousey ( Hopper and Gruffie ) fun "Love is in the Air" challenge at House Mouse and Friends hosted by Sue !!

For my card I've made a small shodow box and attached to the front of my card wraping yellow ribbon round it and adding a bow. This gives you a nice shelf if you want to add anything inside the box.  I haven't, but decorated the frame with die cut pins and real buttons, adding my usual faux stitching

Used my Spectrum Noirs to colour my Happy Hopper  and added some puffy heart trim to top and bottom .

Scottie Dogs

OMG 1st Feb already, where on earth did January go....

Had our first snow flakes yesterday morning,  then they were gone in a flash !!   Rest of the day was sun and showers....snowdrops are bloomin and a lot of the other bulbs are through,  maybe spring is on its way !!

Anyhoo 1st of Feb means the new Little Claire club stamps are out and this month its "Scottie Dogs " !!

Scottie Dogs stamp set

Love, love, love this set !!

Just got to have scottie dogs and tartan together, so have used two of the Dinkies - mini tartan papers from the pack which you can find HERE

Check out all the Dinkie paper pads as any of them will work with these super cute scottie dogs !!

Now my second card is very different...

...in soft Promarker pastel browns, blues, greens, yellows and pinks !!  Now I did cut in half the Happy Post sentiment stamp so I could stamp in a straight line, but are able to push it together again so don't worry if you want to give this a go .

Please pop over to the Little Claire website and get more inspiration by the team with their fabulous makes and consider joining the stamp club !!
