We have been enjoying a bit of spring...the lambs are in the fields, daffys are out and the almond tree's are flowering,  but I see this morning we are back to dull and wet.....

Here is what I have made with my Molly, a mini 6" x 6" album made using two 12" x 12" sheets of kraft card.  The flower and bow is a pull out small tag and the flowers have been made using a Cheery Lyn die.

 It has a fold out concertina piece inside.

 Why on earth I can't make something easy to photograph,  I just don't know.....

This is the first side with a hidden tag which is double sided

   This is the flip side.

The papers are by Docrafts called Kraft Notes and I have distressed the edges and cut out some of the elements to decorate my album adding frantage embossing powder here there and everywhere. 

If you do it in your kitchen, you too could have a new look work surface, floor and even your dogs !! 

It's wonderful stuff !!

Talking about inspiration....

 This is one cool dinky card which folds down flat to fit in a 6" envelope !!

 The squares are 1 1/2" square and just right for the squares of  "Bonnie Westies" . The sentiment is from "Canel Scene" and the paw prints from "Silhouette Cats"

Used my promarkers to colour in and paper is from my stash.

Spring Cleaning

No I haven't loss my mind...not that "Spring Cleaning"

How about this for a fresh spring card  !!

My super cute bunny stamp is called "Fields of Flowers". Papers are from my stash, the flowers I have made using several punches, used promarkers to colour in and a stamp by Woodware round the edge of my card. Finished off with some lovely dotty blue ribbon !!

Had a great morning watching Lindsay Mason on Saturday  !!

Inspiring us with her new stamp designs. Lindsay is a fab demonstrator with a great sense of humour !!

We all had the chance to play with paints, distress inks, gilding waxes and one of Lindsay's new Zendoodle Mushroom stamps, and of course you could Zentangle or not if you wished with the fab
 make 'n'take !!

Here are some of the ladies busy on my table, not much talking going on, but loads of creativity.

I hate GLITTER

..........but I love Imagination Crafts Sparkle Medium !!

 Had my first play with it a couple of weeks ago and love it !!

 I hate loose glitter because it gets everywhere and sheds.

Sparkle medium adds texture and is soooooooooooooooooo sparkly, my photo's don't show this very well !! Anyway after making loads of test pieces I decided to make a couple of cards with them.

With this first one I just made a cloud effect behind the flowers raising the middle panel with the sentiment. The flower stencil is also by Imagination Crafts called "Gerbra"

What a simple card to cheer anyone who is feeling under the weather. As I said,  I can't stress how sparkly this card is in real life !!

The second card was made using "Butterfly Blossom Border" another stencil by Imagination Carfts

 Not perfect, but a really sweet pretty card. Both my sentiments are by stampin Up. Not bad for a first attempt I don't think !!

My word guys, we have had some frezzing fog mornings these past few days.  On Thursday I took my dogs for their usual launchtime walk in the field and I couldn't see a thing including the dogs !!  Very spooky....

Anyhoo

Today starts this months challenge at Little Claires and the theme is 

" Tags "

 I've made a tag shaped card using the fabulous

 " Sweetest Wishes " and " Bunting "

My image and bunting have been coloured using promarkers, die cut out the image and fussy cut out the bunting. Finished off with faux stitching , a bow. and some ribbon through the top of my tag.

Good Times !!

March already guys and the new Little Claire Club Stamps are out !!

 "Good Times"

       

My cards are all for the gents...this first one is a great clean classic style with a glazed watch front !!

 The second a bit funky with my usual bright colours, loads of matt and layering and 3d bottles ( who wouldn't see 3d after a few !! )

And my favourite is this fab owl, slightly stream punky gent !!  I've masked off the owl to get the greeting behind and then coloured using distress inks.
