Morning peeps !!

Hope you are all safe and sound after the gales and heavy rain.  We woke to a power cut and boy did I miss my morning cuppa !! But thankfully the worse missed us.....how did you all fare ??

I've made this cute gift box of notelets using

 Benson- Just For You digi stamp

 

I love this paper by  Dovecraft called "Garden Party", the colours and patterns are so pretty.

Done my usual of printing and then fussy cutting out Benson, then colouring him in with promarkes colour matching the flower with the paper. The sentiment is a stamp by Stampin Up. Just had to finish off with some faux stitching.

Over the last few days the Crafty Sentiments Design Team have been showing you on our Inspirational Blog, the fab new release stamps and yesterday we started with our secret projects !!

 

We have had a little fun with the DT and we split into teams.

I've called it a faux chalkboard recipe display stand, what a mouth full !! It really does look like a real chalkboard when in fact its just a piece of black card !! It's for when you tear out a recipe from a magazine, you just clip it onto the display board using the pegs at the top while you are baking !!

Halloween

The papers are from Stampin Up and I have coloured Harriet with promarkers and as usual decoupaged her up which never really shows in my photo's !!

Have you ever seen......

such a wonderful chocolate creation such as this !!

 

A fab chocolate shoe filled with marzipan fruits !!

It's so nice to catch up with friends over tea and cake as I did yesterday with Nicki and Kurt !!  Nicki baked a gorgeous apple cake for us and this fabulous shoe was a gift from them from their travels. I am quiet over whelmed as it really is a work of art and all handcrafted, beautiful details. I'll do a scrapbook page on it as I have never seen anything like it before !!

A Grand Day Out

No not Wallace and Gromit style,

 

 but me and Carol !!

We went to Stratford upon Avon yesterday and the weather was just right, we didn't have any rain !!

The only slight problem was it was their Mop Fair and you can find the history behind this HERE

Its a shame its just a very big fun fair which sits right in the middle of the town !!

 Thousands of butterflies flying free all around you !!  Some as big as your hand !!

Finished the day off with a walk along the river...

I've made a tent card and cut a window using a spellbinders die. The flowers and leaves were cut using  Marianne dies and I have coloured my dashund using promarkers.
