Now who doesn't like fairies and Delicious Doodles have a great selection to choose from and I chose "Away With the Bunnies"

 Super cute and just right for an unusual Easter card !!

I cut 3 white card strips and embossed them with a flower design and then inked over the top with a blue chalk ink to hilight the design. Then mounted them onto my card. Printed my fairy image and coloured in with promarkers. Heat crinkled some white ribbon which I coloured with a pink promarker to colour match my fairies dress and added a a punched out flower. My sentiment is from Crafty Sentiments Designs and has been mounted on 3d foam and a few bits of my crinkled ribbon added. Finished off with a couple of pink punched out small flowers added to image and some sparkle using a Sakura pen.

The wonderful thing about being on a design team is you have loads of gorgeous cards to give to special friends and this one went to my special friend Nicki !!

Woke up to a Christmas scene yesterday and it didn't stop snowing till late in the day !! Talk about spring, the poor birds must be in a right old state !!

Anyway onto our challenge this week !!

Morning peeps !!

It's gone really chilly again here and apart from snow last Sunday no more has appeared !!  

So today I have another one of my bright and cheerfulls for you !!

The Catch A Bug Challenge this week is Bingo and I have used the middle line down.

The paper I've used is Echo Parks "For The Record" and have done loads of matting and layering with several different patterened papers. My Bugaboo image is called " Theodore-easter" and can be found HERE  Used my lovely promarkers to colour this cute image in and have decoupaged Theodore. Finished off with a lollypop flower made with the papers and faux stitching.

House Mouse

I love this House Mouse stamp which was a present from Christina when I was part of her design team at A Maze of Memories. Christina used to keep guinea pigs and so did I.

The challenge over at House Mouse and Friends is "Ribbon and Pearls", so thought I would enter.
  

The paper is by Basic Grey called "Picadilly" and I have embossed it all using a folder with small flowers to give it more texture.  Coloured in using promarkers and added some lace, ribbon and pearls to finish off.

Fairy

This very cute image is from " Just Some Lines" and called "Fairy Kiss"

Been playing with my paper again.   Instead of doing a sun burst effect like last time ( Flowers Galore card)  I have made a corner burst.  Just like last time I have put two patterned papers together ,  but cut wedges up from one corner instead.  Doesn't it give a lovely effect !!

Done my usual thing and coloured in using promarkers and decoupaged my fairies wings, head, arm and frill at bottom of her dress as well as the caterpillar.   The sentiments is from a set os stamps by Woodware called "Fairy Tots"   Finished off with some stickle glitter on her wings and some faux stitching and a few buttons.

Flowers galore !!

Here I am again with my second post of the day !!

" Flowers Galore "

Well my card sure is going to brighten up this dull day for you !! Who can't not smile at this Crafty Sentiments Design cute bunny stamp called "Field of Flowers"

I've made my sun ray backing paper from two cordinating papers from Bo Bunny's "Hello Sunshine" paper stack. Just lay the two papers together and mark the centre, then cut straight lines at intervals to the centre mark, but number each double wedge you cut out. Then glue each piece onto your card starting at no 1 and alternating each paper paper piece as you go. You'll have enought to make two backing papers.

My bright flowers are just strips of narrow card, hand cut to make a fringe and then rolled up to make the flowers. My leaves were cut using a Sizzix small die. Finished off by faux stitching round the edge of my card.

Easter

The lovely ladies over at A Twist Of Faith Card Challenges have kindly asked myself and a few of the girls from The Robyn Fetish Challenge Blog  team to do a GDT spot for their challenge this week !!

The challenge is # 29 "Easter"

On a plain white card I printed my verse directly onto the front. On two strips of white card I then wrapped a length of pale pink  ribbon ,one with a bow and mounted onto 3d foam to the card.

I have decoupaged all three, three times, but the last middle flower I have just twisted slightly.  They have been coloured with promarkers ( guess you know I love my promarkers !!)

 There you have it, one simple but lovely Easter card !!

This is just up my street as I love making scenes (that's picture scenes not emotional ones !!)  and I can fussy cut to my hearts content and decoupage everything up !!  It's actually a frame within a frame.  Great fun !!  So this card has loads of layers and all the images have been coloured in with pastel promarkers.  Just got the new cloud embossing folder by Stampin Up which is just right for my background .  The green polky dot paper is from my stash which I've have had for some time.

I've made a frame around my image using Spellbinder dies and coloured in using pastel promarkers. The framed image and two half's of the circle die cuts have then been raised off the embossed background

Who doesn't like a bit of chocolate cake on their Birthday ( not sure about the mouse sitting on top of it, but hay ho !!)  I thought this would make a great man or boy's card so kept it brown's. blues and a bit of red. The papers I have used on my centre stepper card are by Papermania. Usual fussy cutting and decoupaging of the images with some stickles on the cake frosting. Handcut the flags to make my Happy Birthday banners and finished off with a bit of red raffier.

Today I kick off with "Bunny Harvest" and  have made an easter basket to hold some chocky goodies for a friend.

The basket has been made with a 7 1/2 x 7 1/2 piece of white card and decorated with papers from Docrafts called "With Love" . Then used a Martha Stewert punch to make the lace edging to go all round. My very cute bunny image was coloured in again with good old promarkers . Finished off with faux stitching all round and a few buttons !!

Birthday Fishes

Is it me just me who cringes when I see maggots ??

Well I had a box full of them last night on my washing machine, no nothing had died and started to go off....my brother likes to fish and he had to let his magots breath.....hay ho

which explains my card I have to show you today. It was said brother's Birthday yesterday and when I saw this fab image by Bugaboo I had to grab it for his card !!

I love bright and cheerful papers and these are by BoBunny called "Hello Sunshine". Coloured my fish using promarkers and used a blue promarker to colour the background and the blue circle and strip so it all matched. Wouldn't be me if I hadn't decoupaged the image and also glazed the fishes eyes.

The Robyn's Fetish Challenge #149 Easter

Well guys Tesco have had them in since Boxing day !! Yes I'm talking Easter Eggs and M&S not long after that !! And now it's nearly here !!

CHALLENGE #149

"EASTER"

We have a fabby prize of 3 images of the winners choice !!

And my fab image from The Robyn's Fetish Store is called

 "Babette the Bunny"

Now anyone who knows me or follows my blog, knows white card isin't my thing because it doesn't stay white for very long !!  But this one did I am glad to say !!

Used my pastel promarkers to colour Babette bunny and made a frame using a spellbinders die.  I popped the middle section from my frame behind the sentiment. I then embossed two pieces of white card with two different embossing folders to make the background.

I cut a piece of white card and  punched a lace border and then wrapped three lengths of pastel ribbon round to make the border behind my image and then made a bow using the three ribbons.

To finish off I punched out some very small circles of white card and coloured them with the pastel promarkers  to edge the sentiment.
