My image from Digital Paper Craft is called "Bobby Boy" so I just had to make a very British Bobby card for a boy !!

I've decoupaged the image several times, Bobby's head, hat, jacket front, collar and pockets.  It's always hard to show this in a photo I find !!  He has been coloured in with  promarkers.  Then added a speech bubble and stamped the Happy Birthday in it and couldn't resist then stamping below my ribbon the Hello,Hello,Hello border !!  I finished off with the red and black brads and coloured a piece of white card to make the checker border at the bottom.

I love doing white on white and for my card I have used "Toby in Bag " digi stamp.

Remenber... one of the fab things you can do when using a digi stamp is to flip it, which is what I did with the very cute Toby image !!  I would like to say it was a design feature, but I did it by mistake and is NOW a design feature !!

Toby has been coloured in with pastel promarkers and I have used a spellbinders die to cut the heart matting squares. I embossed a piece of white card with the small flowers and cut it into smallers squares to fit inside the backing heart squares. The butterflies were cut on my Cricut.

This would make a lovely Easter or  New Baby card as well as a Birthday card.

Here's my round card using The Digi Gardens image called "Fuzzy Buzy Bee"

Just what we need with this weather, a bright and sunny card just bee-cause !! Funny thing the paper is by BoBunny and called "Hello Sunshine" !!

The wonderful thing about digi's is that you can flip the image and make it any size you want. I've coloured him with promarkers as usual and cut the sentiments on my cricut. Gittered his wings with stickles,  added a few flower buttons and faux stitching to finish off.

Taken just now....snow has stop play for me ie mobile hairdressing,  so just got up to make a cuppa and Taz was fast asleep in the chair and Hugo wanted to go and play in the snow !!

Christmas in January

Well it's felt abit like that here in the UK, we had snow and then it was gone,  now it's here again  !!

The lovely crafty crew over at C.R.A.F.T challenges ask a few of us girls at Robyn's Fetish if we would like to join them this week as GDT for their " Christmas in January" challenge !! Thanks girls !!

So for my card I have used " My Mittens" which can be found HERE in the Robyn's Fetish shop.

What else would you put an image called My Mittens onto, but a mitten shaped card !! For that I just handrew the shape onto a folded piece of white card and covered it with some christmas papers by Stampin Up.  And guess what......I've fussy cut , decoupaged and paper piece the cute cat and her dress and mittens !!  The sentiment was hand written by me also.

Thats another christmas card to go in my box for this year !!

Gruffies !!

Gruffies I hear you say ??

For those who don't know...Gruffies are bears by House Mouse Designs !!  And I have a new set called " Ride Of Your Life" I bought them because I knew they were perfect for men's cards and I just love them !! You can find them HERE at Joanna Sheen's

A very simple card in sepia with a bit of distressing thrown in !!  I've stamped in Vintage Photo distrees ink and have also used it to colour in and age the white card.  Used the larger bee stamp to make the background.

The girls over at Winter Wonderland are having a challenge called "Shopping" and seeing I have so many new christmas stamps which I haven't had a chance to use,  I thought I would enter and get ahead with my christmas cards for this year !!

How ahead am I !!

I love Little Claire stamps and this one is so cute !!  This little elephant sure has been doing his christmas shopping !!

Went to see a crafty friend of mine called Nicki the other day to wish her well in her new home and came away with a lovely bag of crafty stash !! Thanks Nicki !!  The papers are from that crafty bag !!

I've decoupaged the elephant and his brolly, added some stickles for a bit of sparkle and then edged everything with faux stitching !!  One christmasa card down and god only knows how many more to go !!

 

Ps; yes I did post this in the morning and somehow deleted it later in the day, so now I have had to rewrite and post it again !! DOH !!

Now I know its my age, but I love pink and purple and of course I just had to do some fussy cutting !!

 This fab Broken Box Stock image is called "Toodle-Poodle", which I coloured in using promarkers and fussy cut out to decoupage.  The papers are by Wild Rose Studio and have also cut out some of the flowers from the backing paper to decoupage as well !!  I've added some paper lace and then some ribbon to finish off. The sentiment is from a set by Woodware.

For my bit of sparkle and shine I just had to used " Flora " (digi stamp)

She is so cute with her big manga style eyes !! 

For my easel card I have used paper from Craftwork Cards and fussy cut a lot of the flowers out. The shiny leaves were cut using a spellbinders die. Flora was coloured using promarkers and stickles was used to add sparkle to her wings and background. Popped one of the new Crafty Sentiments in the middle of the big flower stopper to finish off.

I had fun this week playing with " Friends For Ever "

I decided to make a paw print easel card by cutting out the paw shapes on my cricut and then making a hinge at the back to join them together, not an easy shape to do this with, but hay ho I do love a challenge  !!

Printed my image several times so I could cut the dog, cat and duck's head out to then colour and raise up at on the bottom paw .  From The Heart, Happy Birthday was also cut on my cricut. This happy bunch were all coloured in using promarkers.

Just one fun, happy and very differnt card which I must admit,  I just love it !!

So my mission this year is to get more peeps sending a thank you for whatever !!

I had a crafty play day with a friend over the christmas hols and made these four cute 4" cards just using scraps and a couple of new sizzix dies. Most of you know I LOVE playing with little bits of paper and this is why......

New year, new stash, new home...

I decided to make a New Home card using " Bird House "

I really love doing lots of mat and layering of cordinating papers and I have used four papers from a paper pack by Basic Grey called " Konnichiwa ".

The lovely Bird House digi image has been printed several times so I could decoupage the roof , roses, bird, worm and cute little bee.  All coloured in with promarkers and a bit of stickles added to the roses.  Used a spellbinders die to cut banner and a Marianne die to cut swirls.  Made a few rolled roses,  seeing I haven't made them for a while !!

What a bright and cheerful way to welcome someone to their new home !!
