Something different

You may remember a while back we had a day with Lindsay Mason at AMOM and made the card at the top. Well I also made this LO using the same technique as the card to make the background and castles. I made it for one of the Scrap Club Challenges. Its of my cousins husband who always wears shorts all year round !! The photo was taken on Christmas Day a few years back and his paper hat looks like a crown. The only thing it needs to finish it off is a silhouette stamp of Father Christmas in his sleigh flying accross the moon.......I haven`t got one !

First Christmas Cards !!

Last Saturday we had a class at AMOM of Christmas Cards, my very first this year !! The stamp set used is "Tipsy Tree" by Jane Gill and I think I am right in saying the cards are Jane Gills designs as well. These are my cards which I have glittered up, added some paper pieceing and faux stitching.

As you know I LOVE using up my bits left over and managed to make 10 gift tags this time as well !!

A Fun Sketch

Woodware USA Challenge this week is "A Fun Sketch". For my card I have used the Woodware set of stamps called "Veggie Patch" by Francoise Read. This set is one of my favourites as you can make loads of different cards for men !! For instance my card could be for a Birthday, Retirement or Congrats on your win in the show !!

A Touch of Pink

Now I know you don`t get PINK hens in real life wearing bling necklaces, but in blogger land you do !! This is my card for the Woodware UK Challenge: A Touch of Pink. The stamp is from a set by Artemio and has loads of hen`s, flowers and a hen house. Used my nestie dies to make the card and then layer up.

Molly Bloom

Molly Bloom stamps are FAB !! They stamp very clear images as I found out on Saturday. My crafty friend Anna let me play with her stamps, so I have made this card for the Paperlane Challenge: Anything BUT Square !! with a Molly Bloom image on. So pleased as my bucket card does look like a bucket !!

Woodware UK Challenge: Anything but a card

I knew I had a bag of Woodware buttons somehwere.....found them !! So made this neclace which was inspired by Jennifer McGuire. This is a fab way to use the buttons you love !! I did make jewellery in my younger days, so it was great fun to make this simple necklace !!

A Gem of a Challenge 25: Let`s hear it for the boys !

Haven`t got any boy stamps, so "Scuba Meg" has had to change sex for my card to "Scuba Mike" !! Lost count of all the little fishes I stamped out !!

Woodware`s UK challenge is just for fun and this week it is a sketch. I`ve used "Forbes and Friends" stamp set by Jane Gill. Lots of lovely little stamps on this set to play with.

Pink Gem Challenge 24: Sketch( plus two other cards)

This is my card for the Pink Gem challenge 24 which is a sketch. The challenge can be found HERE. Check out all the lovely DT`s cards for inspiration !! The papers are "Max & Whiskers" by Basic Grey and I love how the little cats on the background paper are peering over the top of my card !!




Two anniversary cards I have made for friends. The top one is using "House Mouse" stamps which I LOVE !! The set is just called "LOVE Sunflower" and was a birthday present from Anna, a lovely crafty friend of mine.

The bottom one is using a set by "Hero Arts". Again I love their stamps as well !! The paper is by Basic Grey and called "Wassail"

Ummmmmmm

I`m one of the runners up in Creative Cardmaking mag card competition, issue 30 !! I don`t know really what to say, but WHOPPEEEEEE !! I was picked out of 200 entries and that has really made me gobsmacked !! Always have a go because you never know.......
