Woodware USA Challenge 24: Sketch

This weeks challenge is a sketch at Woodware USA. I`ve used Woodwares stamp set "Take It Easy". The paper if from a paper pack from Wildrose Studio. I`ve also embossed the paper and card to make it look like quilting.

For my card I used a lovely image by Penny Black, my nellie dies and the paper is from a pack by Craft-To.

Card Club

This months card club was three simple cards designed and inspired by Francoise Read. I seem to be doing alot of things designed by Francoise lately !! Anyway here are my version of the cards.`

Woodware Challene 23: Die cuts/punches

Love my "Groovy Cats" set of stamps from Woodware, which were designed by Francoise Read. She really does come up with some lovely stamps. Used my sizzix frame die and my lovely paw print punch by EK Success and the papers were from My Minds Eye "Stella Rose" range. Really bright and cheerfull card !!

Owls again....

As soon as I saw this card on youtube I wanted to make one. Sorry I can`t credit the lady who designed it as I didn`t write her name down. I`ve used different owl stamps( Woodware again) and paper pieced mine, which I love doing !! It`s just lots of fun !!

Woodware USA Challenge 22: Anything Goes

Well anything goes this week for the Woodare USA Challenge, so I`ve made this cute milk carton gift box using the woodware set of stamps called "Dino Friends" by Francoise Read. Stamped dino foot prints all over the box and coloured in with promarkers. I seem to be into pastel colours at the moment.....

Scrap Club

Yesterday wasn`t a good day health wise for me so I did struggle with my LO at Scrap Club. To make matters worse we had to use glitter on our LO and I hate loose glitter !! I love the effect, but it never stays were its put !! Thats why I only use glitter glues....anyway I love my LO of Mr Bumble and Mr Bee who are no longer with me and were gorgeous Alpca guineas. This was Easter 2007 and I made them each a pair of bunny ears for a forum easter photo comp. They got a bit bored and started to eat the hot cross buns !! Forgot to say we also made the rosette flowers which I have made before.

As usual I have used my leftover bits, I`ve made this Easter card ( 4th photo ) for a special friend and three tags !!

Woodware USA Challenge 21: Monochromatic

Now I said I liked owls.....so for the challenge I have used my set called " Owl Greetings " by Francoise Read and again paper pieced them which I love doing. Don`t laugh, I wasn`t sure what monochromatic meant, but I was right !! Just if your not sure the dictionary says : of, producing, or pertaining to one colour or one wavelength. So there you have it !!

A day with Francoise Read

Yesterday at AMOM we had a day with Francoise Read a designer for Woodware. She bought some lovely samples which would inspire anyone !! In the afternoon we had a master class with her and made these three lovely paper pieced owl cards !! Love these stamps but short of money at mo so will have to put them on my wish list !! Only had small bits of paper left and owl body parts, but look what I`ve made with them (the last card)
