Family

Morning guys !!

Well we have a bit of sunshine at the moment, but there sure is a bit of a nip in the air !!  had to get my knee blanket out last night......

Well I only showed you a little bit of this last time , but now I can show all !!

I really love how this layout has turned out. Its of my aunt, grand mother and great grand mother. The paper is from the Works and very good quality

I've made the roses from the torn edge scraps, loads of pearls, punched butterflies and banner using Fiskars punhces.

Distressed all the edges and added a hand pricked hole stitch edge as well.

A lot of work, but a super page to catch a moment in time.....

Wonder of Christmas

I was very lucky on Stampin Up UK on facebook and won a "Wonder of Christmas" stamp set and here are a couple of cards I've made using it.

I've used up some scraps of paper to paper piece the angels dress and edge my scallop card and also decoupaged the banner. Used my good old stickles to add a bit of sparkle to her wings.

My lovely friend Nicki gave me a sweet set of Newton's Nook stamps called "Wagon of Wishes and yesterday I made these cute cards !!

There is one little wagon stamp and five different things you can put in it

And a few sentiment stamps to go with them

Made them all the same basic design adding my cloud inked background and grass.

Really sweet cards....

Watercolouring class

Just had a go at Hochanda's Matthew Palmer's water colouring live class !!

It was fun, but next time I will just watch first then paint....

You really need to get use to the paint brush and have a play with mixing the colours first, as usual I just went for it !!

If you squint a bit and cock your head to one side...they don't look too bad !!  My boat is wishful thinking, but hay ho !!

Would I do it again...a big yes it I had the money.

Zombie cat ??

bet that got your attention !!

Well it is a cute zombie cat.......I showed a sneak peak of this halloween shadow box earlier in the week, so here is the full picture....

I've made it from a tissue box as you do.....

Just take it apart and cut off the top and bottom tabs.

Then cover the inside and outside with paper leaving the last inside tab panel bare, glue tab to form box and the cover this side with paper thus covering join.

Then you have the fun making the zombie cat, spider and moon using Fiskars shapecutter and circles template. Punching out the leaves with the Intricate Leaf punch and topping it off with a hugh bow !! I hand drew, coloured and cut out the tombstones.

Think of all the other seasonal themed shadow boxes you could make just with a tissue box !!

What'd you think then ??

well you know I adore colour !!

One very funky different Anniversary card and I love it !!

Loved this Woodware stamp as soon as I saw it !!  I've stamped onto water colour paper several times so I could 3d the whole house,  flower,  bird and door and  then water coloured the whole image and background.

Could really get into this water colouring thingy.....
